Design Language
This collection is a tribute to sisterhood, resilience, and the quiet strength that endures even through injustice. Inspired by her elder sister, who has been wrongfully imprisoned for over four years, the designs explore the emotional threads that connect us — love, pain, and hope — through textile and form.
Though separated by walls, the bond remains unbroken. The collection reimagines confinement not as the end of freedom but as a space where inner strength is woven tighter. It reflects both struggle and solidarity — the way sisterhood becomes a lifeline in the face of suffering.
BRAIDS
Braids represent connection — the intertwining of lives, memories, and emotions. Each braid symbolizes unity and the strength that comes from being bound together in love and shared experience.
KEYHOLES
Keyholes signify both imprisonment and hope — the tension between restriction and the possibility of release. They invite the viewer to look inside, to witness what lies beyond the barrier: resilience, longing, and faith in justice.
CROCHET
Every loop and knot carries intention — the way love and memory are built slowly, with hands and heart. Crochet becomes a metaphor for sisterly devotion, creating warmth even in cold spaces.
